1. GENERAL INFORMATION
At Art Paint Shop, we strive to offer you a secure, fast, and convenient checkout experience. All transactions are processed in Euros (€).
- VAT: All prices listed in the shop include the statutory German Value Added Tax (VAT), unless otherwise stated (e.g., for B2B accounts with valid VAT ID).
- Security & Processing: We use Stripe, a globally certified PCI Service Provider Level 1, to process your payments securely. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers; all payment data is encrypted and handled directly by Stripe to ensure maximum security.
2. ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS
We currently offer the following payment options.
2.1. Credit & Debit Cards
We accept all major credit and debit cards via our secure Stripe integration, including:
- Visa
- Mastercard
- American Express
- Discover
- JCB
- Diners Club
- Union Pay
- Maestro
How it works: Your credit card will be charged immediately upon completion of the order. This ensures that your items are reserved and can be sent to dispatch without delay.
- 3D Secure: For your protection, transactions may require 3D Secure authentication (Verified by Visa / MasterCard Identity Check).
2.2. Apple Pay & Google Pay
For a fast mobile or desktop checkout, we accept digital wallet payments powered by Stripe.
- How it works: You can pay directly using the payment details stored in your Apple Wallet or Google Pay account. Authentication is handled via your device (FaceID, TouchID, or Passcode).
2.3. Prepayment (Bank Transfer)
We offer classic bank bank transfer (Vorkasse) for customers who prefer not to use online payment services.
- How it works: After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation email containing our banking details (IBAN and BIC) and your Order Number.
- Payment Deadline: Please transfer the full invoice amount within 7 days.
- Dispatch: Your order will be dispatched only after the payment has been credited to our bank account. Depending on your bank, this can take 1–3 business days.
- Note: If payment is not received within 14 days, the order will be automatically cancelled.
3. INTERNATIONAL PAYMENTS
3.1. Currency
The contract currency is Euro (€). If you are paying with a card or bank account denominated in a different currency (e.g., USD, GBP, CHF), your payment provider will automatically convert the amount.
- Fees: Please be aware that your bank or credit card provider may charge foreign transaction fees or currency conversion fees. Rave Painter's Shop UG has no influence over these fees.
3.2. Non-EU Customers
For customers outside the European Union (e.g., Switzerland, UK, USA), VAT treatment and customs duties are handled as described in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
4. RETENTION OF TITLE
The goods remain the property of Rave Painter's Shop UG (haftungsbeschränkt) until full payment has been received.
- For Prepayment: Dispatch occurs only after receipt of payment.
- For Credit Card/Wallets: Ownership transfers upon successful capture of funds and handover of goods, though we retain the right to reclaim goods if a payment is subsequently charged back or revoked.
5. PAYMENT ISSUES
If you encounter any issues during checkout (e.g., declined card, error messages), please try the following:
- Check that your card is enabled for international/online payments.
- Ensure your billing address matches the address on file with your bank.
- Try an alternative payment method (e.g., Apple Pay).
